There are few things more exciting than the anticipation of a new baby's arrival, so it's no wonder everybody wants to celebrate the new mom-to-be. Bun in the Oven Baby Shower
Somebody's got a bun in the oven! Take this classic pregnancy phrase and run with it like Brittany Schweigart of Grey Grey Designs did. Schweigart created a wonderful display including miniature ovens (one vintage and one DIY) and loads of cinnamon bun shaped snacks ranging from cinnamon roll cake pops to spiral sandwich wraps and of course, fondant cinnamon bun and oven-topped cupcakes. Guests were asked to write down their recipes for taking care of a new bun for the mom-to-be's "recipe" box, and each guest took home their own bun-- a jelly jar filled with cinnamon roll cookies.
