Classic Red Ball Birthday Party
Jessica Kirkland of Pen n' Paperflowers Studio & Design went back to basics for the source of inspiration for her daughter's second birthday party. The classic red balls that her daughter loves to play with led her to create this fun and cheery event which featured cupcakes topped with red gumballs, red cake balls, red round candies, shirley temple soda and more red and white treats set on what else but a red and white polka dot tablecloth. Children enjoyed coloring pictures of balls, playing handmade paddle ball with a red balloon and paper plate paddles, bean bag toss, and of course playing with a wide selection of bouncy red balls, which also doubled as the party favor. There is no doubt that everyone had a ball at this party which had a simple inspiration that turned into quite the presentation! Go to PenandPaperFlowers.blogspot.com for all the event details. And if red is not your color, don't hesitate to try this party in any other color in the rainbow.
