Have you ever taken a ton of photos on your family vacation, only to come home and realize that very few of them are worth putting in an album? Take photos that will help you remember the great time you had and being nice to look at - you might even take one or two worth framing!

First, make sure you take a photo of the entire family. Use a tripod or ask a stranger for help, but don't go home without proof you went together.
