Despite the fact that retail stores have been decorated for months, the Christmas season doesn't officially start in my home until after Thanksgiving. One fun holiday tradition we most enjoy is adding one or two new ornament each year to our tree.
The ornaments usually represent something we have done over the course of the year -- like the small boat and can-can dancer we purchased to remind us of the trip to Disney World where we rode the "It's A Small World" ride about a gazillion times. But homemade ornaments are just as special, and they can capture some fun family memories that you will enjoy looking back on each year.
